About the Montreal
Climate Summit
The Montreal Climate Summit is the annual gathering of the Montréal community for the climate transition.
It is a milestone event where public authorities and society’s key stakeholders highlight solutions, measure collective progress and share successes and challenges in their work to speed up the city’s climate transition.
Each year, the Summit invites leaders from the business, philanthropic, political, union, grassroots and environmental communities, as well as students and citizens of every stripe, to gather and rally around concrete measures. It’s also the premier platform for making announcements and commitments to doing more, better and faster for the climate.
The Summit is organized by the Montreal Climate Partnership in collaboration with the City of Montréal and many partners.
2026 Co-Chairs
The 2026 Montréal Climate Summit will be co-chaired by two committed leaders: Antoine Chagnon, President and CEO of Lallemand Inc., and Nadine Raymond, President and CEO of the YWCA Montreal.
Through their actions and commitments, they embody the ambition of the Summit: to combine inclusion, innovation, and sustainability to accelerate a just and collective transition.

“Citizens, public decision-makers, and the business community are all facing the direct impacts of climate change. That’s why choosing to move forward is the only path forward. The Summit, which has become Montréal’s annual climate event for the past five years, aims to support every actor engaged in this transition—no matter their level of progress. It’s through everyone’s contribution, at their own scale, that we’ll make tangible progress to improve quality of life for Montréalers,” states Nadine Raymond, Co-Chair of the Montréal Climate Summit.
“Climate transition, through both the reduction of carbon emissions and adaptation to the impacts of climate change, helps address several of the most pressing challenges we collectively face today. These include living healthier lives, developing sustainable energy sources, preserving biodiversity, feeding the planet, and, of course, fighting climate change,” declares Antoine Chagnon, Co-Chair of the Montréal Climate Summit.
