“Citizens, public decision-makers, and the business community are all facing the direct impacts of climate change. That’s why choosing to move forward is the only path forward. The Summit, which has become Montreal’s annual climate event for the past five years, aims to support every actor engaged in this transition, no matter their level of progress. It’s through everyone’s contribution, at their own scale, that we’ll make tangible progress to improve quality of life for Montrealers,” said Nadine Raymond, Co-Chair of the Montréal Climate Summit.
“Climate transition, through both the reduction of carbon emissions and adaptation to the impacts of climate change, helps address several of the most pressing challenges we collectively face today. These include living healthier lives, developing sustainable energy sources, preserving biodiversity, feeding the planet, and, of course, fighting climate change,” declares Antoine Chagnon, Co-Chair of the Montréal Climate Summit.
